I have no hobby that brings me more joy and happiness more than volunteering my time helping educate children. I know why I have this passion. I am so fortunate to have had incredible teachers as I grew up. I had many educators influence me. I remember when I was young, watching the movie ‘Pay It Forward.’ The movie, and especially the idea always stuck with me. I feel I owe it to the kids of today to teach and help them. I want to pay it to forward the rest of my life, because the gift of a good educator is gift that will pay dividends forever.
